Parents play a very important role in their children’s growth and adaptation to cross-cultural life. When parents bring young children to the field, what do they need to do? This booklet brings together the wisdom and experience of parents, adult TCKs, and educational and counseling experts. I hope that parents can spend time before embarking on the field to consider and discuss the issues listed in this booklet. This booklet can also be used as a guide for sending agencies and churches. We hope to see healthy and joyful cross-cultural families live the love of the Lord on the field, and look forward to seeing their children grow up healthy in all aspects of body, mind and spirit.
